Santam: Bursaries 2025

Santam and StudyTrust are pleased to invite you to apply for a bursary if your studies are focused on one of the study programmes listed below.

The Santam Bursary Programme intend to produce a steady stream of skilled, capable and high calibre graduate learners with core technical skills, and behavioural and leadership competencies.

Who can Apply?

Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Honours degree in:

• Actuarial,
• Data Analytics,
• Data Sciences,
• Statistics
• Agriculture
• Civil / Geomatics Engineering
• Insurance Technical Accounting,
• Economics,
• Finance,
• Mathematics
• Reinsurance,
• Risk Management,
• Underwriting

The bursary will cover costs for the following:

• Registration/Tuition fee
• Accommodation (Deposit, admin fees, etc.)
• Learning material (Books, e-Manuals, etc.)
• Laptops
• Monthly allowance
• Travel/Transport allowance

Requirements:

• Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Honours degree in one of the above mentioned fields of study
• Must be a second, third or final year undergraduate, or an Honours student next year
• Applicants must have achieved an average of 65% and above for their undergraduate degree and in the latest examinations (mid-year/June).
• Must be a South African citizen
