Citi South Africa: Learnership Programme 2024 / 2025

Citi South Africa is looking for Graduates to join our year long Learnership Programme. The year-long programme provides exposure and practical work experience to newly qualified university graduates across various Citi businesses. Graduates are allowed to apply to permanent positions in the year and are also sponsored a postgraduate qualification during their year of work, relevant to their area.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting rates traders in the bonds and rates space.
• Preparing and analysing risk and various reports for the desk.
• Monitoring market moves and providing commentary.
• Learning and understanding how to manage risk and make prices across asset classes.
• Analyse macro-economic data and market trends.
• Engage and communicate with sales traders and operations to ensure processes are completed efficiently.
• Participation in morning meetings.
• Ensuring processes and procedures are up to date relevant to job responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Must be a University graduate (Diploma / Degree)
• You are a motivated and dynamic individual with a passion for financial markets.
• Have a desire to excel in a fixed income role.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with clients,
• Have a keen interest in fixed income products.
