City of Johannesburg: Finance Internship Programme 2024 / 2025

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ),Transport Department is offering Internship opportunities to suitably qualified and unemployed graduates. The Interships will run for a a period NOT exceeding eighteen (18) months.

Position Title: Revenue Internship

Duration: 18 Months contract

Department: Transport Department

Branch: Finance

Stipend: R9 531,54 pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist the revenue that the cash sales processed at Rea Vata stations are property accounted for;
• Assist the revenue officer to ensure that the cash is property banked, and all bank transaction are accounted;
• Assist the revenue officer to ensure timely reporting of accounting information;
• Assist the revenue officer to ensure that inventory is managed properly following the City policies and regulations;
• Assist in compiling and audit file.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• National Diploma / Degree (NQF 6 or Higher) in: Finance / Accounting or related field
