Applications are invited from unemployed youth interested in pursuing a career as an Artisan. Suitable candidates will have the opportunity to enrol at a recognized Training Centre to develop their skills over a three-year period. Workplace training will take place at our Timbadola sawmill near Louis Trichardt (Makhado).
Learners will receive a monthly stipend throughout the apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of the occupational knowledge, practical, and workplace training, the Skills Development Act mandates that apprentices undergo a final summative assessment (Trade Test) to become certified as qualified artisans.
