Old Mutual: Graduate Accelerated Programme 2024 / 2025
The Graduate Accelerated Programme is aimed at identifying and developing leadership capability to meet the future resource needs of the OMSA business. The incumbents are recruited and appointed as per the recruitment governances of the programme.
These employees gain experience and business knowledge initially through project -based involvement and on-the-job training accompanied by ongoing assessments. The incumbents will be appointed as GAP Trainees until such time the individual is ready for placement in an appointed role identified upfront by a Business Unit.
Trainees will be appointed as Junior Support Analysts
Role Purpose: Assisting to understand and document business requirements on a Group Finance, Group Risk and Compliance, Group Strategy, Sustainability, People and Public Affairs teams, designing appropriate business and/or support solutions, liaising with IT to deliver IT components, perform testing of solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Issue Resolution: Efficiently diagnosing and resolving technical issues or user problems.
- Customer Service: Providing exceptional support and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
- System Monitoring: Regularly monitoring systems and applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for troubleshooting procedures and solutions.
- Incident Management: Logging, tracking, and managing incidents through to resolution, including escalation when necessary.
- Knowledge Base Management: Updating and expanding knowledge bases with new solutions and best practices.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and suggesting improvements to support processes and workflows.
- Training and Support: Assisting with the training of users and providing guidance on system usage.
- Business requirements gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and document business requirements clearly and concisely for approval
- Data analysis and reporting: Support in gathering and analysing data to inform decision-making including producing reports based on analysis, highlighting key insights
- Testing and quality assurance: Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure business requirements are met and track and document issues raised during testing and ensure they are resolved
