The CSSFF-SAMRC Internship Training Programme is a partnership to train and build the African workforce in biopharmaceutical manufacturing in Africa. The programme is geared to enhance Africa’s health and biotechnology human capital and is an open call to candidates to specifically grow Africa’s workforce in vaccine manufacturing.
Candidates who have graduated with a degree in health sciences, life sciences, chemistry (including process and analytical chemistry), chemical engineering, pharmacy and allied science degrees that are relevant for the health and biotechnology sector and for vaccine manufacturing are invited to apply.
The lab-based training programme will cover rudimentary skills (both laboratory and soft skills) required in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and will extend through to key processes involved in up- and down-stream biopharmaceutical manufacturing and is based in Cape Town for the 6-month period.
