Averda South Africa: Occupational Health, Safety & Enviromental Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Occupational Health, Safety and Enviromental Intern to join our team for 12 Months.

What  you ''ll do:

• Assist in the development and implementation of Occupational Health, Safety and Enviromental policies and procedures
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assesments
• Participate in Occupational Health, Safety and Enviromental training sessions and workshops
• Support the investigation of workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Mantain and update Occupational Health, Safety and Enviromental records and documentation
• Collaborate with variou departments to promote a culture of Occupational Health, Safety and Enviromenta requirements
• Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic enviroment
• Work alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about Occupational Health, Safety and Enviromental

Requirements:

• Graduates with a National Diploma in Enviromental Management
• Strong undertanding of Health, Safety and Enviromental regulations and best practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as of a team
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
• Experience in Waste industry will be advantageous
• A certificate in Health and Safety Training (SAMTRAC, NEBOSH would be advantageous
• Language | English, Xhosa
• Own transport with Valid License
• Successful Candidate will be required to go for entry Medicas fitness and Hepatitis Vaccination
