State Information Technology Agency (SITA): Internship Programme 2025

SITA invites applications from suitably qualified and unemployed South African graduates. Interns who meet the minimum requirements after completion of a 12 months training programme may be considered for absorption into critical positions within SITA

Stipend: R 6 500 per month

Duration: 12 months

Location: All Provinces

North West - Internship

Qualification in any of the following:

• End-User Computing,
• Software Developer,
• Business Analyst

Northern Cape - Internship

Qualification in any of the following:

• Data Scientist,
• Information Technology

Mpumalanga - Internship

Qualification in the following:

• End User Computing

Limpopo - Internship

Qualification in any of the following:

• Data Analyst,
• Business Analyst,
• System Support,
• System Development,

Kwa-Zulu Natal​​​​​​​ - Internship

Qualification in any of the following:

• Server Engineer,
• Network Engineer,
• End User Computing,
• Service Desk

Eastern Cape - Internship

Qualification in the following:

• End-User Computing

Who is eligible to apply?

• Unemployed South African citizens between 18 and 35 years;
• South Africans who are in possession of a Degree or 3-year National Diploma in a relevant field;
• No working experience required;
