Sanlam: Learning & Development Internship Programme2025

The Learning & Development Graduate Intern will support the L&D team in the design, delivery, and evaluation of training initiatives to enhance employee development and organizational performance. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the L&D field, contributing to strategic learning projects while developing professional skills.

The role reports to: L&D Manager / Learning & Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis, design, development, and delivery of learning content
• Support the coordination and logistics of learning interventions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and communication.
• Build learning frameworks in line with business needs
• Contribute to the administration of learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
• Participate in the evaluation and analysis of training effectiveness and learner feedback.
• Assist with the creation of reports and presentations on learning metrics and program outcomes.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather learning needs and assist in aligning L&D strategies with business goals.
• Provide general administrative support to the L&D team, including maintaining training records and documentation.

Requirements & Qualification:

• Recent graduate with a Degree / Diploma in:

1. Human Resources,
2. Learning & Development,
3. Education,
4. Psychology,
5. or a related field.

• ODETDP Certificate will be advantageous
• Passion for learning and development with a keen interest in instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools (advantageous).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
