About National Treasury

The National Treasury’s 24-month Internship Programme provides graduates with a structured opportunity to strengthen their skills and gain meaningful, hands-on workplace experience that complements their academic qualifications. The programme is designed to support the transition from academic study into the professional environment by exposing interns to real public sector work, guided learning, and practical application of knowledge.

Through on-the-job training, mentorship, and professional development, participants build competencies that enhance employability while contributing to the effective functioning of government and public finance institutions.
