South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL): Internship Programme 2026

The Internship Programme successfully places candidates within divisions of SANRAL to provide them with the workplace experience needed to act as a foundation to establish their career. Interns are given a 12-month contract and receive a monthly stipend.

Internship: Finance

• National Diploma or Degree in: Accounting or equivalent

Internship - Stakeholder & Transformation 

National Diploma or Degree in: 

• Communications,
• Project Management and Transformation
• Public administration
• Public management
• or equivalent

Internship - Commercial Property Administration and Development

Degree (NQF 7) in:

• Commercial Property Development,
• Town Planning,
• Commercial Property Planning or Administration,
• Property Financial Management.
• or related

Internship: ICT (Logistics)

National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6 or Higher) in:

• Logistics,
• Transport management,
• Operation Management,
• Business administration,
• Customer Relations
• or Supply Chain related qualification.

Internship: Engineering

National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6/7) in:

• Public Administration & Management
• Civil Engineering

Internship: ICT (Service management) 

• National Diploma or Degree in: ICT related qualifications

Internship - Internal Audit

A Bachelor’s degree/BTech in:
