About the Internship

The Sourcing Interns will support the Sourcing team in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers, managing sourcing documentation, and assisting with cost analysis and supplier performance tracking. This role offers hands-on experience in strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supplier research, evaluation, and selection processes.
• Support the preparation of Request for Quotations (RFQs), Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFI)
• Supplier management
• Support in the onboarding of suppliers
• Help maintain and update supplier databases and sourcing documentation.
• Participate in cost analysis and benchmarking activities.
• Track and report on supplier performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, logistics sales and finance.
• Assist in preparing sourcing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.

Requirements

3 Years Tertiary Qualification (Degree/Diploma) in:

• Supply Chain Management,
• Procurement,
• Business Administration

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of operational functions & cross functional inter dependencies
