Learnership Overview

De Beers Group is offering Engineering Learnerships aimed at providing aspiring artisans with valuable hands-on experience and technical training in different engineering trades within the mining sector. The incumbent will be required to successfully complete a structured QCTO Occupational Qualifications in a specific listed engineering trade registered with the MQA through a tripartite Learnership Programme Agreement implemented through a structured training programme to qualify as an Artisan.

Learnership Location: Blouberg and Musina Municipalities

Note: Successful candidates will be required to enter into a fixed-term employment contract linked to the duration of the programme with the company for the purposes of this training opportunity.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Maths Literacy), Physical Science, and English with a Minimum 40% pass in all subjects,

• N2 with 4 subjects relevant to the trade or
• NCV Level 3 with at least 40% in mathematics and all other relevant subjects

In addition to above minimum criteria the incumbent will also meet the following requirements:

• Able to travel to the training Centre out of Limpopo province – company sponsored transport.
• Successfully obtain a Red Ticket (Medical Fitness certificate) on mine.

• Psychometric and Technical assessments.
