Brixton
Situated next to Auckland Park on the southern boundary of the University, you will find the quaint suburb of Brixton. Due to it's proximity to the university, Brixton has become a popular area for students to stay. We have four student homes in Fulham Road ranging between 300m and 900m of the University entrance. A mere 5 to 10 minute walk to entrance 2 or entrance 4 makes attending classes quick and effortless.
Hurst Hill
On the western boundary of the University between Westdene and Brixton, you will find the small suburb of Hurst Hill. We have two houses in St. Ermins street, only 600m from entrance 5 of the University. Hurst Hill is an ideal location to live and learn while at UJ. Our properties in Hurst Hill are situated a short distance from Helen Joseph Hospital making them ideal homes for students attending the nursing college.
Rossmore
A small suburb of only a few streets, Rossmore is situated on the south eastern boundary of the University between Auckland Park and Brixton. Our two properties in Rossmore are only 100m from the campus grounds and a mere 400m from entrance 2 or entrance 4. Our student homes in Rossmore are highly sought after and are a must see for any student looking for accommodation around Kingsway Campus.
Westdene
Westdene is a trendy and upmarket suburb along the northern boundary of the University. Westdene is home to many of the University's students which adds to the charm and vibrancy of the suburb. We have one student home in Aberdeen Street which is a safe and quiet road only 500m from entrance 4. And we have one student home on the main road, Perth Road, across from the Rea Vaya bus terminal. This property provides easy access to entrance 1 or entrance 4 of the university and is also ideal for students studying at Wits, AFDA or Rosebank College because the Rea Vaya is on your doorstep.
