Distell: Internship Programme 2023

The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are in their last year of study and require exposure in a work environment or have a prerequisite to have practical work experience before qualification.

Successful interns will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract commencing 01 February 2023 and terminating on 31 January 2024.

The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

Finance Intern

• Final year of obtaining a Finance related tertiary qualification – Degree/Diploma.

Human Resource Intern

• Final year of obtaining tertiary qualification in Human Resource– Degree / Diploma.

Packaging Intern

• Final year of obtaining tertiary qualification – Engineering Degree / Diploma

Cellars Intern

•  Final year of obtaining Any tertiary qualification

Packaging Learnership

• Matric/Grade 12 (Maths & Science)
• or relevant N qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical)

Technical Trainee Intern

• Recently completed graduated students (no work experience) with a diploma in Engineering (NQF 6)

Skills and Competencies:

• Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Sound communication and presentation skills;
• Effective time management;
• Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
• Ability to work in a team
• South African citizen;
• Reliable means of transport
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime and nightshift if required during week/weekends
