Afrimat Iron Ore: Engineering Bursaries 2024

Afrimat Iron Ore has the following bursaries available for 2024:

• Mining Engineering,
• Mechanical Engineering,
• Metallurgical Engineering

Requirements:

• Must be in Matric (Grade 12) in 2023.
• Must have a minimum average of 70% in Maths and Science on Grade 11 final Report.
• Must be from the Northern Cape.
• Must have a valid South African ID.

Please note:

• The bursaries are applicable to Grade 12 students intending on studying one (1) of the three (3) above mentioned fields.
• The candidate must provide proof of provisional acceptance received at any of the accredited South African Universities.
• The bursary is accepted on a provisional basis, provided that the candidate passes their Matric with an average of 70% in Maths and Science and receives final acceptance at an accredited University in South Africa.
• Should the candidate be provisionally selected for this bursary and not meet the required average, they will then forfeit the bursary.
