South32: Graduate Internship Programme 2023

HMM is launching the 2023 Graduate Development Program. The program aims to train and develop graduates within the technical disciplines as shown below. Graduate development opportunities are available in the below mentioned fields of study.

Successful candidates will undergo a structured learning program for a duration of 2 or 3 years during which they shall have an opportunity to establish themselves as a meaningful contribution to the organization.

Applicants should have recently completed their bachelor’s degree studies in the relevant fields from a recognised tertiary institution.

Required Education:

Must have a Degree / BTech / National Diploma in: 

• Mechanical Engineering, 
• Electrical Engineering,
• Mining Engineering, 
• Geology, 
• Metallurgy, 
• Accounting, 
• Human Resource Development, 
• Human Resource Management, 
• Logistics , 
• Communications;

Skills and Competecies:

• Have an inclination to work in heavy industry;
• Good communication, analytical and logical thinking skills will be preferable;
• Attention to detail and the ability to work within a team is essential;
• Any vacation work experience or practical training experience with exposure to these fields will be advantageous.
