The Discovery Internship Programme was first launched in 2006 and we have successfully developed and changed the lives of over 500 graduates, with an average permanent placement of 71% post an internship.

You will be awarded an opportunity to join the smartest team in the industry and be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment after your 12 months with Discovery.

The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

Actuarial Intern

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial science

Internship: Insurance Agent

Bachelor’s Degree in:

• Statistics,
• Commerce,
• Science,
• Data Analysis,
• Information Technology,
• Insurance.

Internship: Risk Management Intern

• Finance or Legal qualification

Internship: PL Systems Developer

• Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
• Tertiary qualification will be an added advantage

Internship: Incident Support Analyst

• BSc in Computer Sciences / Information Systems or equivalent IT tertiary qualification

Internship: Risk Engineer

• Engineering degree or similar (Essential)
• Risk Management Diploma/Degree (Essential)

Internship: DevOps Engineer

• B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or a related IT field

Internship: Project Administrator

• Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
• Development/ IT Certifications

Long Term Insurance Learnership

• Must have a Grade 12 certificate
• Not have completed any previous Learnership.
• Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years;
• Must be a South African citizen
