Motus: Cashbook Clerk - Entry Level Job
Motus Aftermarket Parts Head Office in Meadowview is searching for a Cashbook Clerk to complete an accurate bank reconciliation monthly whilst clearly indicating and understand the outstanding deposits and GL items. The successful candidate will report to the respective manager of the department.
Responsibilities:
Key Performance Indicators will include, but not limited to:
- Download of bank daily.
- Send bank queries daily
- Daily and monthly upload of cash forecast.
- Bank reconciliation including CFC Bank.
- Resolving outstanding deposits with debtors and branches.
- Resolving outstanding creditors with creditors and branches.
- Assisting with BEE admin.
- General journals.
- other ad hoc responsibilities.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Degree / Diploma will be advantageous
- Previous experience in similar role will be advantageous
- Computer literate, especially strong MS Excel skills (a must)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to cope under pressure and meet deadlines
- Clear criminal and ITC
