Siemens: Business Development Internships (Commerce Graduates)

We are looking for driven and able commerce grauate willing to work under pressure to assist Business Development in building our portfolio and Customer footprint in Southern Africa.

Business Development is the key entry point to Siemens Energy for new Customers and opportunities. You will be assisting us to grow our business into target countries and industry verticals.

You would be working with a Team of five experienced and dynamic Business Development Professionals.

Responsibilities:

How You’ll Make an Impact  

• Conduct Go2Market research & prepare presentations.
• Arrange Roadshows / Customer events including creating and sending invitations, following up with Customers, arranging venues, etc.
• Assist in identifying and qualifying potential leads through tender portals and working with the Business Development Team.
• Write social media content (Linkedin, etc.) that highlights Business Development activities in the region, newsletters (internal & external), etc.
• Adding and maintaining contacts in SalesForce, etc.
• This includes tasks like creating & track actions in Teams, processing Travel & Expenditure claims for Business Development, etc.

Requirements:

• We are looking for graduates with a Degree or Diploma in Commerce.
