Requirements:

Internship - (Building or Civil Engineering)

Location: Tsitsikamma National Park

Requirements:

• Must have a Degree/National Diploma in: Building or Civil Engineering
• Be an unemployed graduate age 18 – 35
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must not have previously been employed nor participated in an internship/ placement programme

Internship - (Financial Accounting / Internal Audit)

Location: Karoo National Park

Requirements:

• Must have N6/National Diploma/Degree in: Financial Accounting / Internal Audit
• Be an unemployed graduate age 18 – 35
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must not have previously been employed nor participated in an internship/ placement programme

Internship - (Environmental Science / Environmental Management / Geography)

Location: Knysna Regional, Garden Route National Park

Requirements:

• Must have Degree or Honours Degree in: Environmental Science / Environmental Management / Geography
• Be an unemployed graduate age 18 – 35
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must not have previously been employed nor participated in an internship/ placement programme

Internship - Civil Engineering

Location: Knysna Regional, Garden Route National Park

Requirements:

• Must have a Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Be an unemployed graduate age 18 – 35
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must not have previously been employed nor participated in an internship/ placement programme
• Must reside within the Western Cape Province

General Workers

Location: Kruger National Park

Duties: Performing semi-skilled tasks that will include cleaning in the camp and gates. Perform cleaning duties including ablution facilities and surrounding areas. Keep equipment clean and in good working condition. Assisting with other ad hoc tasks as required by Supervisor / Management.

Requirements:

• Must have a Grade 12 certificate
• Physically good health
• The incumbent must have knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
• Ability to listen and objectively understand verbally conveyed messages)
• Relevant/ general working experience
• Good knowledge of tools, handling, and aftercare

Hut Attendant (Kruger National Park)

Location: Kruger National Park

Duties: Perform cleaning duties including chalets, ablution facilities, and surrounding areas to prescribed set standards. Control inventory items. Reporting abnormalities including equipment and maintenance faults. Assist with the collection of supplies when necessary. Assist with general work in Rest Camp. Assist in laundry duties of the rest camp.

Requirements:

• Must have a Grade 12 certificate
• The incumbent must have hygiene and housekeeping skills
• The incumbent must have knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
• Communication skills both Written and Verbal (English)
• Supervisory skills will be an added advantage
• Good knowledge of tools, handling, and aftercare.

Hut Attendants (Skukuza, Malelane, Talamati & Lower Sabie Rest Camps)

Location: Skukuza, Malelane, Talamati & Lower Sabie Rest Camps

Linen Room Attendant

Location: Mopani, Shingwedzi, Letaba, Olifants Rest Camps

Duties: To ensure that there is sufficient linen, crockery, cutlery, and other kitchen utensils etc.,Responsible for controlling and issuing the required stock to the Hut Attendants. To ensure that the linen room is manned at all times. To count operating stock according to the set standards and keep records at all times. To efficiently issue the required operating/ equipment/ linen to hut attendants according to the set standards. To ensure the cleanliness of the linen room at all times. To ensure that the soiled linen is counted correctly, send it out for washing and receive a good order from the laundry. To report all linen room-related issues to the supervisor at all times. To perform other ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:

• Must have a Grade 12 certificate
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products,
• Understanding of safety and hygiene requirements,
• Basic understanding of Hospitality/ Housekeeping standards,
• Organising and self-management skills,
• Basic understanding of customer services.
• Ability to work under pressure.
