Applications are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic and driven Waiter to join a team based at St John's collage. This role reports directly to a Facilities Manager, in the Integrated Business Unit.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness in the areas allocated
- Delivering of food and setting up for functions
- Ensure function work areas, equipment and utensils are in a clean and orderly condition
- Ensure food is displayed in a presentable manner
- Clear dishes and return to kitchens after functions
Requirements
- A positive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for producing high quality customer care
- Basic knowledge of service standards, guest relations and etiquette
- Honest and reliable
- No criminal Record
- Matric and or a Basic food hygiene certificate
- Relevant experience working in a similar environment
- Maintaining compliance with the highest sanitation, safety, and quality standards
- Willingness to undertake new duties to support colleagues within the team
