Role Purpose: Responsible for supporting the Legal team with all legal activities in support of the Group Legal Strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will be involved in a plethora of tasks, as they arise during the term of the Internship Program in a high level, strategic and operational setting.
- Shadowing the Group Legal Manager
- Ability to plan and complete projects
- Ability to identify and solve issues by applying professional standards required of a legal professional
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Drafting legal contracts
- Maintaining legal case files and databases
- Performing administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in LLB
- Computer proficiency
- Interest in the Health Care Industry
- Sound understanding of Legal principles.
- Previous exposure to POPIA will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines.
- Good time management skills
