Shoprite Group is offering bursaries to South African students to support their tertiary studies in fields aligned with the group’s business needs. The bursary provides financial assistance for tuition and related study costs, along with development support and career exposure. Fields of Study Covered By the Bursary

The following Bursary opportunities are open for applications:

 

Bursary: Accounting (CA Stream - SAICA)

  • BCom Accounting / BAcc (CA stream)
  • 65%+ Aggregate
  • 2nd, 3rd and 4th academic year/ PGDA / CTA
  • SA citizen
  • 27 years old and younger

Bursary: Supply Chain & Logistics

  • Qualifications:
  1. BCom in Logistics/Supply Chain Management
  2. BSc Operational Research,
  3. Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management
  • Students in 2nd, 3rd or 4th academic year
  • 60%+ Aggregate
  • SA citizen
  • 27 years old and younger

Bursary: Retail Business Management

  • Diploma in Retail Business Management
  • Students in 2nd, 3rd & 4th (Advanced Diploma) academic year
  • 65%+ Aggregate
  • South African citizen
  • 27 years old and younger

Bursary: Agricultural Sciences

  • Degree in: Horticulture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, AgriBusiness Management, or any Agriculture degree with a focus on Crop or Plant Production,
  • 2nd, 3rd or 4th academic year
  • 60%+ Aggregate
  • SA citizen
  • 27 years old and younger
